Su-25 Gsh-30-2 Cannon and Unguided Rockets

Welcome to the gun and unguided rocket training mission in the Su-25 Frogfoot.  In this flight you will learn to destroy targets using both the Frogfoot's GSh-30-2 cannon and S-8 unguided rockets.

 

Su-25フロッグフットの機関砲と無誘導ロケットの訓練ミッションにようこそ。この飛行ではフロッグフットのGSh-30-2機関砲とS-8無誘導ロケットでターゲットを破壊する方法を学びます。

 

 

To take control at anytime press the 'CTRL-Q' keys or to exit this mission press the 'ESC' key.

 

「Ctrl Q」キーを押せば、いつでも操縦を引き継げます。ミッションを終了するには「ESC」キーを押します。

 

 

The Gsh-30-2 is a large twin barreled 30mm cannon capable of firing 3,000 rounds per minute with a maximum ammunition capacity of 250 rounds.

 

Gsh-30-2は大型2砲身30mm機関砲で、最大250発を搭載し毎分3,000発の速度で発射する能力があります。

 

 

We are in the Varnavinskoye Weapons Range and will be attacking a large vehicle park ahead of us that offers plenty of targets.

 

Varnavinskoye射爆場に来ています。ここで多くのターゲットが用意されている前方の広い駐車場を攻撃します。

 

 

I'll first select air-to-ground mode by pressing the '7' key followed by the 'O' key to activate the laser range-finder system.  Next, I'll press the 'C' key to switch to cannon mode.

 

まず「7」キーを押して空対地モードを選び、「o」キーを押してレーザー測距装置を作動させます。そして「C」キーを押して機関砲モードに切り替えます。

 

 

Notice that the green 'ready' light is illuminated on the bottom left of the sighting glass indicating the laser range-finder is active.

 

照準ガラスの左下側で緑色の「準備良し」ライトが点灯し、レーザー測距装置が作動中であることを示しています。

 

 

Looking at the sighting glass we see the cannon air to ground gun targeting cross.  The quarter circle around the cross is the range scale with a solid thick arc indicating the range limits of the gun and a small triangle showing the current slant range.

 

照準ガラスを見ると機関砲空対地照準が表示されています。照準の周りの四分円は距離計で、太い部分は機関砲の射程範囲を示し、小さな三角形は現在の直距離を表します。（訳注：実際には三角形はバンク計で左右30度までの機体のバンクを示します。）

 

 

As we get closer to the ground the triangle moves clockwise down the scale and when it's within the 'in range' arc the amber light comes on and we are assured of a good firing solution.

 

地面に近付くに従って三角形が目盛り上を時計回りに動きます。そして三角形が「射程内」の部分に入ると（訳注：ここまでも誤りで、距離計に沿ったバーが伸び縮みして距離を示します。バーの太い部分が射程距離を表します。バーの端が太い部分に掛かっている時が射程内です。）オレンジ色のライトが点灯し、射撃に適した状態なのが分かります。

 

 

I'll start a dive on the target area.

 

ターゲット周辺に向けて降下を始めます。

 

 

Now we are in range as indicated by the amber light on the lower right of the weapons sighting glass.

 

武器照準ガラスの右下側にオレンジ色のライトが点灯したので、射程内に入りました。

 

 

Steady.... Using the 'SPACEBAR' key to fire, Guns, Guns, Guns!  Short bursts are best.  Good hits on some of the vehicles!  Be sure not to become fixated on your target or you'll fly into the ground.

 

機体を安定させ････「スペース」キーを使って発射します。ガン、ガン、ガン！ 短い発射時間が最適です。数台の車両に命中しました。ターゲットに固執し過ぎないように気を付けましょう。でないと地面に突っ込んでしまいます。

 

 

Now I'll execute an escape maneuver dropping flares and raising the flaps to extend away from the target area and come back with rockets for the next attack run.

 

そしてフレアを放出しフラップを上げながら脱出機動を行ないターゲット周辺から離脱します。次の攻撃航程はロケットで行なうつもりです。

 

 

As you can see, the Gsh-30 30mm cannon is very effective against military vehicles!

 

ご覧の通り、Gsh-30 30mm機関砲は軍用車両に対し非常に効果的です！

 

 

We'll set up for a rocket attack on this next pass. Since we're still in guns mode, I'll press the 'C' key to cancel guns and place us back into air-to-ground weapons mode.

 

次の航程のためロケット攻撃の準備をします。まだ機関砲モードのままなので、「C」キーを押してキャンセルし空対地兵装モードに戻します。

 

 

Now look at the weapon readiness panel down ahead of the thrust levers.  The 'HPC' symbol means we are in air to ground weapons mode with rockets selected and you can see the indication that the stations with rockets pods are illuminated green meaning they are ready to fire.  This panel is the only indication you have of the currently selected weapon with 'HPC' meaning rockets and the '6' symbol meaning bombs.

 

今度は、推力レバーの向こう側の兵装準備パネルに注目します。「НРС」マークは空対地モードでロケットを選択していることを意味します。ロケットが搭載されたステーションが緑色に点灯していますが、これは発射準備が整ったことを示します。現在選択中の兵装を示すのはこのパネルのみで、「НРС」はロケットを「Б」は爆弾を意味します。

 

 

We are using the Spetztekhnika Vympel S-8 80mm explosive fragmentation unguided rockets contained in B-20 pods.

 

B-20ポッドに搭載されたSpetztekhnika社製Vympel S-8 80mm炸裂破片型無誘導ロケットを使用します。

 

 

I'll start the run into the target with a pop-up.

 

急上昇してターゲットに向かいます。

 

 

The rocket targeting cross is identical to the cannon and the green light is illuminated the same.

 

ロケット照準は機関砲のものと同じで、緑色のライトの意味も同じです。

 

 

Now I'll roll in on the vehicle park and start a dive. I'll extend the flaps with 'F' key to help reduce the angle of atack and provide a better downward view out the windscreen.

 

駐車場に向かってロールし下降を始めます。「F」キーでフラップを下げ迎え角を減少させ、風防越しに見える下方の様子を見易くします。

 

 

There is the amber light, we are in range.

 

オレンジ色のライトが点灯したので、射程内です。

 

 

Using the 'SPACEBAR' key to fire, Rockets away!  Good hits again!

 

「スペース」キーを押して発射します。ロケット発射！ また命中です！

 

 

I'll perform the escape maneuver and extend away.

 

脱出機動を行ない離脱します。

 

 

The rapid fire capability of the S-8 rockets really put a lot of firepower on that vehicle park.

 

S-8の速射性能のおかげで駐車場に大量の火力を撃ち出す事ができました。

 

 

There is another park with abandoned aircraft to the northeast of the vehicle park I just hit.  Now it's your turn to practice using the cannon and the rockets on those aircraft.  Press the 'CTRL-Q' keys to take control or the 'ESC' key to exit.  You have control.

 

今攻撃した駐車場の北東に放棄された機体の駐機場があります。これらの機体を機関砲やロケットで攻撃してみて下さい。「Ctrl Q」キーを押して操縦を引き継ぐか、「ESC」キーで終了してください。操縦を任せます。
