- IT Management Caravan Activities were promoted by 12 private organizations,
such as IT Coordinators Association, The Japan Chamber of Commerce
& Industry, Microsoft-Japan, Intel, etc. from Dec. 2006 until
Mar. 2008. Mr. Takaaki Seki, Chairman of ITCA played the role of
the chairman of this campaign.
- The Caravan bus which was donated by Mr. Steve Ballmer of Microsoft
to Mr. Takaaki Seki, chairman of the caravan have visited various
local site from far and wide in Japan and has performed promotion
activities of effectiveness of IT-empowered management with latest
hands-on of IT technology.
- The Caravan bus, named "The challenger", accomplished
nearly 60,000 km throughout Japan, giving opportunities to nearly
22,000 people at 120 cities, spending 150 days in total during 15-month-long
campaign. The total number of 175 IT coordinators have cooperated
in this campaign, introducing various best practices of IT management
with the relevant corporate executives, as well as giving counseling
of IT management at the site.

- IT経営キャラバン隊活動は、ITコーディネータ協会、日本商工会議所、日本マイクロソフト、インテルなど民間12団体によって、2006年1２月から2008年3月まで行われた。
- MS社のSteve Ballmer, CEOからIT経営キャラバン隊の会長である関隆明会長に手渡されたIT経営キャラバン隊のバスは、日本の津々浦々まで各地に、ITを活用した経営の有効性を、最新のITハンズオンと共に訪問した。
- チャレンジ号と名付けられたキャラバンバスは、15ヶ月間で、約60,000kmを走破し、120カ所、述べ150日間で22,000人の人々にアクセスした。175名のITコーディネータがこのキャンペーンに協力し、成功事例を、関連する企業トップと共に紹介し、また会場でのIT経営相談会を実施した。
