Why
  • What about learning Chniese without Chinese characters. I presume many foreigners start to learn Chinese depending on voice or pinyin, with little regard for Chinses characters.
  • We Japanese tend to modyly depend on characters; so we can understand the meaning but we couldn't speak it!
  • 中国語を漢字なしで学ぶのはどうだろうか。おそらく多くの外国人は音声、即ちピンインを重視して、漢字は軽視して学び始めるのではないだろうか。
